Hi, I'm Tammie, and it is lovely to meet you.

From a young age, I have enjoyed being a listener and a comforter for those around me. It has always brought me joy to be there for others when they need someone to talk to or lean on.

Understanding how relationships work has always been a deep curiosity for me, with my own experiences and challenges in my personal relationships serving as a catalyst to become a couples counsellor. I recognise the profound impact of fostering healthy relationships and how this can have transformative effects on individuals' well-being and the broader fabric of society.

Currently, I work as a certified practising counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), working couples. I am passionate about supporting couples in cultivating healthier and more fulfilling relationships. I create space and balance for couples to explore their concerns equally and introduce effective strategies for positive change. I work closely with couples to strengthen their bond, improve communication skills, and foster greater understanding and empathy within their relationship.

I bring a warm, empathic, holistic and client-centred approach to my work, combining talk therapy with evidence-based modalities. To support my practice, I draw from the latest research while looking through the lens of Attachment Theory and Emotional Focused Couples Therapy.

I look forward to supporting you and your partner with navigating your relationship difficulties and moving towards fostering a healthier and more fulfilling connection. I invite you to reach out to discuss more how I can support you.
